Could any one help me with the dimensions of this item, length, Circumference etc. I have an original mounting bracket but haven’t got a bottle so I think I’m going to have to have a go at re producing a replica for my static project unless anyone has a spare original !! (lol) :highly_amused:

There are a number of different sized CO2 cylinders available for paintball guns, one of these may be the right size for you.

Not exactly.
A number of recent restorations use a Cessna 310 bottle, but fit it behind the seat, so it operates remotely. The original is retained for decoration. They are quite scarce now.

I think there is a (more) modern alternative, maybe something out off a Cessna twin that would fit.

Don’t know if this might help. Spitfire 944 documentary shows the bottle in the drawing but no dimensions, at 9:34.
