Can anyone identify who this is sitting in this lovely looking beastie? It’s not Noel Gallagher is it?

Looks like Jarvis Cocker to me, is he off to strafe Michael Jackson, presumably without wearing any trousers.

As already related, Buchon G-BOML in the video for “Writing to Reach You” (Travis).
I dunno if this counts, but TFC’s Spitfire V was seen briefly in the video for “There You’ll Be” by Faith Hill (for the Pearl Harbor soundtrack), but it was a scene from the movie itself…

So can we continue this thread with airplanes that have appeared in music videos? How about that Pat Benatar video in the 80’s where she is leading a strike force of T-6’s to the song ‘Shadows in the Night’?

Tony,
I have a copy of Ultravox, The Collection with all the videos and Reap The Wild Wind is one of them. Being a longtime Ultravox/Midge Ure fan makes this a nice combination.
Cheers
Cees
Thanx for the info Cees….will look out for a copy cheers Tony

Could be…but looks a bit too ‘nice’! Travis?
I would like a copy of Ultravox’s video ‘Reap the Wild Wind’ with its legendary low pass by a famous MH434 jockey!

Yeah, it’s them. “Special Needs” indeed…

There was a group of boys and I believe they were called ‘Special Needs’.
That rings a bell…

There was a group of boys and I believe they were called ‘Special Needs’. They were just packing up as I arrived that afternoon.

G-BOML was used for the music video of “Writing To Reach You” back in, what, 1999 I think.
Something tells me I saw a photo of BM597 in the paper yesterday, or SOMEwhere at any rate, being filmed for this music video. The name of the band escapes me, however, and I’d have to look in the paper tonight.

Fran from Travis…. unlikely, since last time he was at Duxford he was strafed by a Buchon (presumably G-BOML), for some video or other!
