Spitfire VIII JG567

Hello,
Perhaps the knowledgeable folk here can help me.
Building a model of Squadron Leader Day’s 67 Squadron Spitfire VIII JG567.
Got two sources showing different codes for the 9th Jan 1945.
A book in a well know Aces series gives RD-A whilst a side profile in a magazine dating from 2009 gives RD-T (Art work by a Steve Nicols if I recall correctly.).
Been trying to get confirmation on the correct code for a while and whilst there is a relatively famous pic of the aircraft and the pilot showing the nose art I have yet to find one that can confirm the code.

I’ve got the Ops Record books from Kew, I’ve got and checked most of the sources listed in both the book and magazine and unless I’m missing something, (always a possibility!) cannot find anything that confirms whether it is A or T. (I want it to be T but want the model to be accurate :-).)

Any assistance would be welcome.

Cheers

Most of the modellers out there seem to think it is A, but that is all secondary sources.

You have almost certainly already seen all of this, but just in case….

Interestingly the 2 pictures posted on aviationbanter came from the same source.

Can’t help you much, but Leif Lundsten test flew the Spitfire 13 November 1943 for 35 minutes (three seperate flights) from Eastleigh.
