Interesting to see the down elevators – a feature of the Spit in level flight so I am told.
Also the light-coloured wing leading edges – is that the yellow extended to the root ??
…… and the small intakes on top of the cowling and the Springbok on the rudder of the lead aircraft.
Note the large flat blisters over the cannon breeches – painted a different colour – and the different styles of rear view mirror – round vs rectangular
Loads of tiny details to study.
