I was wondering if anyone can tell me any information about the recovery of Sgt Tim Frith’s Spitfire, having obtained a couple of items from the aircraft, and the fact that he is buried in Oxford, I have a keen interest.
I’m assuming that it was dug in the 80’s ? Anyone here on the dig ? The BoB then and now does not mention any recovery, mind you I only have the Mk1 version.
