I never cease to be amazed at the restored aircraft appearing and the high standards applied, terrific.
And as for photos this is an area I have learned a lot about since becoming a full time pro photographer. When permissions are given to be on private property for a photo session you have to abide by any conditions set by the owner of the property and also the subject in the picture. In a public area such as a road and not bound by any terms you can shoot what you like(almost ).

If the aircraft owner grants privileged access and then asks that the person given access doesn’t publish the pictures until after the official press release then the owners wishes should be respected by the person given privileged access. A certain amount of trust is involved here and abuse of that trust means no privileged access to any future events.
Tuck 1940 was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time but wasn’t subject to any picture embargo so there should be no problem with him posting his pictures here.

Thank you for posting the pictures, Tuck. You are perfectly entitled to take photographs of this aircraft where you did, and post them here. England is a free country after all, a status that the Spitfire has helped to protect. If the aircraft had been in a private location, and access had been allowed only on the basis that photography was not allowed, then that would have been a different matter.
Is anybody suggesting that Tuck1940 is not entitled to take and post his images taken at the very public ‘London Biggin Hill Airport’? Certainly not me.
When I arrived home on Friday evening and spoke to my wife of the day’s event I said – “I bet it is already on the Flypast Forum”…and it was.
As I was granted privileged access, I have to abide by the rules/embargo.
This is not a case of I have something that you would like to see but I am not going to show you. The minute the embargo is lifted I will post some images for all to enjoy.
The important thing for me is not the scoop aspect but that the first flight has been adequately recorded for posterity…and the addendum in Vol II of the Boo.

C’mon Mackerel show us yer pix!….did the wings look good?
Hey Chumpy the wings did look good , in fact the whole plane looks good, its got that used look, unlike certain others & I think Peter should be justifiably proud of his achievement, (with a bit of help from others).
