Spitfire XIVE SM820 – High back or low back?

I’m not a modeller but I was following up an enquiry when I came across this little debate

http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234951959-spitfire-xive-wwii/ (Posts #13 and 14)

Anyone have any thoughts? It’s not particularly important so don’t go to any great lengths. It’s just intriguing.
