Hi Forumguests,
Half a year ago I received a drawing (yes, from THE Spitfire-expert) with details about colourscheme and markings for the Spitfire. The drawing is referring to another drawing for “lettering at radio and electrical socket” and that drawing has number 30036/SHT95. Any Spitfire-specialist out there who has this drawing or who knows what the lettering (text and size) should be ?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Benno

The 12V is 2″ lettering stencilled in light green and centrally postioned on the door. The other lettering is 1/2″ stencilled in black. Position is 3.5″ from centre of door to bottom of Electrical and a further 1inch to the bottom of & Radio Socket. If you want a better image PM me your e-mail address and I will send you a copy
Sorry you couldn’t read the scan hope the above helps.

Hi Fluffy,
Thanks; that’s the one !
Can you tell me the size of the lettering (both “12V” and “ELECTRICAL & RADIO SOCKET”) and their position from the center of the socket ? It’s hard to read from the scan.
Regards,
Benno
