Would any members pof this forum care to comment on the anonimity issue, hope I have spelled it right. My user name is Graham Adlam becuase that’s who i am, you can also see that i supply my contact details. I see that many members do not use thier real names and do not leave contact details. Could anyone enlighten me as to the purpose of this?. This came to light recently when i have been trying to make contact with members who left posts about me. I found in nearly all cases no contact details were available.
Do you think its responsible to allow posts from persons not prepared to at least leave contact details? Personally i think that verified addresses should be sought by the administrators of this forum before posting is allowed. Perhaps i am missing the point somewhere? would be pleased to hear comments from other members.
Hello could Mark12 who i believe is Peter Arnold? contact me in reference to a copy right issue. Thankyou.
Also trying to make contact with Peter Grieve, Peter you don’t seem to be replying to my emails are you receieving them ok.
Thanks
Graham

Graham, as you are new here I will explain.
If I take the decision to close a thread it is because there is some form of issue.
Your threats of legal action have moved the goalposts to the point where only a Key employee can have the final say.
If you will forbear from opening further threads and await the return of the Webmaster we would all be very grateful.

Graham – It’s entirely up to a person if they want to be contacted in exactly the same way that you can choose to put ‘junk mail’ in the bin rather than reading it or indeed not bother answering the phone .
In an ideal world everyone would be entirely transparant as to their identities and websites would be 100% gospel but it doesn’t happen that way.

Graham,
As you will have discovered, you need a terrestrial e-mail address in order to register. The webmaster will have contact details for everyone.
It is up to individual members to decide if they want to be contacted. You can always use the PM function. Like e-mail, it is up to anyone who you contact to decide if they want to answer.
For many people, a degree of anonymity is useful. After time, we all know who the various users are anyway! I have always been one to make myself known – On the whole, I stand by my postings, and am happy to discuss my contributions with anyone!
All the best
