Historic/Vintage/Warbird/Rare/Interesting ! we all love to see them and it gives a heads up to others as to what where and when.
Maybe 2013 will bring its first spotted below ground level, shhssssssss :rolleyes:
And I think we should all give a massive thank you to all the operators of these flying machines who without you would only see in museums, or more than likely not.
Now I would like to wish all of you a happy and Aviationous 2013.

This afternoon was surprised to see bright red Hiller UH-12 N5317V northbound on the M3 just before the M25. I was going the other was as per normal but it looked in excellent condition.

A very pleasant sight at lunchtime today, a P51 flying low towards Ware. It looked like PT’s Hanger 11 aircraft on one of his winter flights. Lovely

Nice Hawker Hunter fast and low over Rowhedge east to west around 1500hrs. :applause:

Airliner cockpit travelling West on M4. Grotty condition but ‘British’ from British Airways visible. Type not verified as I only saw it as it passed over the minor road I was on. Possibly the same front end as the above post.

Tuesday at Booker. Front end of a Trident or BAC 111 on a low loader. Not sure which as I’m at a loss with airliners unless the wings and tail feathers are there too.

Thanks Propstrike, that sounds familiar. I think I have seen a rear half there with that S/N on so I guess you have correctly answered my query ref the Hunter. Now I wonder if anyone can shed any light on their Meteor?
