Happy new year to one and all.
Happy Spotting.
I wonder what may grace the skies this year, 2015, the year of the Vulcan? 2016 the year of?

Arrived at DX a short while later.
Duxman
I guessed that’s where they were heading, nice to see them both, it’s been a bit sparse warbird wise around here in the last couple of months.

Tim Darrah attempting to take the 18 to Seething for maintenance. They met fog 20 miles west of Seething, and the Beech diverted into Earls Colne whilst the Chang went into Andrewsfield.
They headed home late morning, seen over Chorleywood at 11.45 on the way back to White Waltham.
Thanks Propstrike, the Chang was leading and the 18 behind. Where I live between Stansted and Luton controlled airspace, there is a max 500 ft height restriction so anything flying through you get a good view. Unless you don’t have your glasses on!

Just flew over in the winter sunshine, Beech 18 and either a Yak or Nanchang. Did not have my glasses on so could not be sure.
Nice to see someone enjoying the crisp weather today.

Out of Biggin Hill this afternoon, over Orpington – Grumman Wildcat. I saw small roundels on lightblue underside. TFC’s Wildcat has invasion stripes so am I wrong on type? Meaty Radial anyhow:D
Aha ! that is what it was, flew over the house harry flatters heading around the N/E end of the Stansted TMZ I was thinking who is mad enough to be out in this wind in a tail dragger, but it was not a tail dragger then.
Nice paint job
