Spotted: RAF C130? on the outskirts of York

I spotted what I’d assume to be an RAF C130 just off the A64 at 16:00, flying at treetop level directly over the bypass!

Has anyone any idea why? It was fantastic, but I’m glad I wasn’t driving as it was quite a distraction! 😀
