OV-10, presumably up from Duxford, over Panshanger at 10.00hrs. And was that Mr. Hiscock’s aircraft tucked in between the hangers on the airfield ?

Which Bulldog wearing RAF training scheme did I see at Popham this morning?
When I drove past on the return leg at about 14.30 somebody appeared to be walking around checking her out as if she was due for a flight later in the afternoon?

A Breguet XIV, flying up our valley in a NW direction at about 200/250 m. Lovely old beast. Undulating flight, causing the sun to reflect off her wings intermittently. Lovely low engine noise. At first I thought that it was a tractor coming up our lane!

CWH’s Lancaster just flew over my house heading west, a very recognizable sound of four Merlins. Will be flying at Vintage Wings of Canada’s air show later today.

So true….!
π Spitfire doing wonderful aeros for at least 25 mins over N/W Cambridge area just now 11-10 onwards.
Walking the dogs in beautiful weather not a sound of a commentator anywhere ,just the birds twittering and the sound of a Merlin being used WONDERFUL.
Dear airshow commentators please take note and SHUT UP.
I’ll second that. Over the years I have come to detest their inane & interminable dronings, usually punctuated by exclamations of ‘Just listen to that..!” whilst they drone-on, ensuring that no one can enjoy the sounds. All the information is in the friggin Programme if people want the griff……

Which aircraft was doing ciruits at Boscombe Down between about 18.30 and 19.15?
It was a piston engine monoplane from the brief glance I got but was very loud (much to my wifes displeasure!).

Heard a drone and whistle in the air and just saw two jets and a prop job disappearing over the trees tops. From the Ware direction heading north, over the village. A posting on another thread seemed to think itβs a photo shoot with two Vampires. No idea of the photo plane.
