Spotting at Gatwick & in Cyprus!!

At Gatwick, I like going to the end of Runway 08R, where there is an emergency exit. But if you go to it. Do not park right in front of it. Park down the road and then walk back up.

watch your step at paphos!!, it would be very very foolish to linger or point your lens at those shacks unless you are on the move, that part of the airfireld is now millitarised, if you are spotted taking photos of them, your feet wont touch the ground. Just remember the last group of spotters who got themselves air time and home office intervention!

Larnaca wasnt amazing from what I saw of it, you can see stuff from the final departure area, but toally unphotographable. Unfortunatley we stayed more towards Paphos on our trip, and it was with school so spotting was difficult to get into the itnerary!

When you are in Cyprus could you take a picture of the Two Shacks. many thanks.

Paphos has a military base and security is tight, though there is an outside viewing area in departures. Larnaca has several good places to spot, but don’t linger for too long or the police could arrest you, especially if you are carrying an airband radio or a camera.

I dont know mate, but might help people that know if you say which airport in Cyprus 🙂
