Hi everyone,
I’m going to Madrid tomorrow for the weekend (on the train as the plane was too expensive 🙁 ). I plan to visit MAD on saturday. Does anyone know if there are any runway views to be had from the terminals in Barajas or if not, are there any good spots within walking distance of the main terminals? If anyone could help with these questions and with suggestions of a cheap and easy way from the city centre to the airport, I’d be very grateful.

Thanks for the reply Düsseldwarf. I’ll look in to getting the Metro out there. Anyone else got any ideas or tips?

I’m certain that the Metro goes from the city centre to the Airport in Madrid – although I haven’t used it myself on this route. It’s a fab city – one of my fave’s in Europe. Don’t know much about spotting there I’m afraid – I’ve always arrived at Madrid too excited and left too exhausted to do any serious spotting 😮
