I really have no idea if someone has already posted this, but I’m running short of time and I’m afraid that I’m unable to search all the forums for a similar post so I must apologise to the mods in advance if I’m repeating this…sorry guy’s 🙂
Squadron Leader Jimmy James (famed for his part in the Great Escape from Stalag Luft III on March 24, 1944) passed away on January 18th 2008 very near to where I live.
I was reading about it a few weeks ago when I visited my grandparents.
