In reference to the Canadian Herc: The military do get to some varied places. I had to look twice on a landing at Abbotsford BC. When I took my first look out of the window as we taxied in the first thing I noticed was a RAF Tri-Star.

Loving all those pittle props! The variation for such a small place seems to be good! Well done man.. always a top notch view of planes for us!

Once again … thanks for those nice comments ….. a few more, some will answer a few of the questions !
Keith. 😎
First aircraft seen upon landing !! What was it doing there ?? somewhat hotter than Calgary I suppose ?

Some of the people who were on the trip with me are on this Islander, having been to St Barts, to experience the landing ??
Talking of signs …. the most famous from the ‘Sunset Bar’
Didn’t see too many poker players around the place ! :diablo:
Three Holers In The Carribean ……

Didn’t see people being blown at the fence !! This view from the other side of Maho Bay …. look at the guy with the flag ! he seems to appear every time a Ansel Air MD 82/3 taxies out to place itself at the very end of the runway, nearest to the famous fence …. his flag is as is on the tail of the aircraft (see earlier photo) but it certainly works !!
And a lovely little aircraft so far from its birthplace !

WoW … Thank you all for the nice comments …. Yes if you are ever thinking of going … just do it ! The Ian Allen Tour I was with was supurb ! This place and Miami International, a ramp tour at Opa Locka, and visits to two airports on Puerto Rico on the way there and on the way back to Florida ! So a million more photos to come 🙂 …..
Keith.
The blue hue below the landing shots is the reflection of the blue sea in Maho Bay, and sometimes the golden sand from the beach !!

And the lovely surfboard updater ?

Very nice indeed Keith. Looks as though you had a thoroughly good time. You won’t believe this, but as I was scrolling down these marvellous images, I was thinking that when I had seen them all I would post a small “where were the Gulfstreams Keith” comment, and there it was. Many thanks mate, and some kudos too! It must be something to see those airliners flying that close up for real. More images please!

Great shots! 🙂
I used to see that Shorts 360 a lot in Kissimmee, Florida. It used to be quite a regular visitor there. I got a snap of my own only last year.
