Thought I’d post some more photos from sunny St. Maarten.
Delta 757 getting some TLC
AA 757 crossing Maho beach…..picture taken by a friend of mine…hope she doesn’t mind me posting it.
KLM 747 ready to roll…different view of the sunset beach. Note the people hanging on to the fence…and sunset beach bar behind the aircraft.
What can I say…NOISY!!! 😮

Ah, in which case it does not belong to an arms dealer, although it may well have been chartered by one individually for that flight. It is owned by Jet Aviation Business Jets in addition to their more numerous and regular fleet of bizjets. Last person I can recall of note who chartered it was the Irish President or Prime Minister.

USAIR 757 lining up on RWY09…pic taken from the road along maho (sunset) beach. So this one is from outside the fence….spotters heaven I would presume.

KLM 747 lining up. Perimeter fence in front. The funny thing is, the fence is a lot lower on the approach end than at any other point around the field. Got to give them hot shotting plank drivers more room I guess 😀 :diablo: :diablo:

The Dutch prime minister flew in on this Fokker. Nice little machine.

And finally…a REAL aircraft…one that requires some skill to fly!!
Just kidding of course…all respect to fixed wingers out there.
This is Paul Allens (microsoft and SpaceShipOne) private Sikorsky S-76C++
Must be nice

United flies in here yes—
I have seen them, but honestly can’t say which days…they all blend together down here!

HA!!..I knew there was a reason I took that photo…now if I could find a picture of a United aircraft we are all set….

Helican, I have a question. Did United ever begin operations to SXM? They announced over a year ago that they would begin a single weekly flight from ORD on Saturdays, but I can’t find that flight in their timetable anywhere.
