Peter Teichman’s beautiful Staggerwing was enticed into Bourn today by the promise of a free cup of coffee. Two forumites you might recognise were along on cleaning duties …

Neil has already confirmed to me that, subject to serviceability, the donkeys will be there at Abingdon.

Ha-haa….I know what you mean,
I’m assured that NeilP has arranged more,and varied,catering outlets for this year,there may also be an alteration to the site layout/parking area,hopefully easing the “yomp” factor…can’t beliebve it’s only 11 weeks away!!!!!

I’d heard that an Ozzie had built a Flying Lawnmower. Is this it?
Sorry ozplane. I have no information on the lawnmower. I don’t even know if it is a restoration or a replica and, I believe, the whereabouts of its dataplate are in question. Shocking!
Abingdon Fair: Looking forward to seeing you all there. I’m taking sandwiches this year. An hour queue for a hamburger, last year, was just downright unbelievable. And bring back the donkey!

[QUOTE=Janie]Pete should be at Abingdon.
Unfortunately, he can only fly one aircraft at a time. I’m working on a way to get around this, but it will take time.
Janie….
whatever Peter brings to AbFayre,he will be more than welcome(keep an eye out for myself and ArmWaver…we’re part of the marshalling team at Abbo[www.abingdonfayre.com])

Great movie Janie. I have an Airtourer which was originally built by Victa in Australia who are the biggest manufacturer of lawnmowers “Down Under”. Allegedly the only lawn mower bit on the Airtourer is the trim adjustment lever whch was also used to set the height of the cut on the lawnmowers. I’d heard that an Ozzie had built a Flying Lawnmower. Is this it?

Pete’s new hangar has a fair amount of grass outside and he is obliged to maintain it. Neeless to day, he has found a way of maintaining his hobby, whilst mowing the grass.
What a beautie – another type to add to the classic lineage of twin boomers. 😎

Will we see it at Abingdon, alongside some of its playmates? 🙂

The stewardess was off her trolley. I wonder what she had fixated on in the photo?
What an absolutely stunning aeroplane!

That prop does look rather shiney.
