Stansted 04 Departures 26-07-12

After waiting for months to capture the olympic arrivals in my usual spot on 22 finals the wind decided to swing aroung, rather than attempt the scrum and parking nightmares I decided to take a few shots from my parents back garden…… (sorry the last shots not the best and a bit soft I just liked the angle)

Good pictures here, but, them are under-contrast and, why you don’t preserve the original aspect ratio (3:2)? They would look better then

Some very nice shots, wish my garden was that close;) I’m about 8 miles as the crow flies from STN. Everything does fly overhead at around four thousand ft, I’m sure that sometimes its a little less. Those -800s have a very distinct sound.
