Ahh sorry, I meant aircraft traffic πŸ™‚ Thankyou kindly for that. The waiting time doesnt sound too bad really. Sounds a little similar to Luton in that respect.
Thankyou kindly for the information, i’m very grateful. πŸ™‚

Traffic as in what’s arriving etc or people wise? :p

If it’s people wise, it varies. During those warm summer days you’ll find family’s down there etc. But normally when I’ve gone to Stansted, it’s usaully me and a few others.

But if you mean aircraft traffic, its not like heathrow where theres an aircraft every 70 seconds. Sometimes there are gaps as big as, 5 mins to 20mins. But it’s mostly Ryanair & Easyjet. You also get to see a few chartered flights as well as Cargo that’s quite a big thing at Stansted. Oh and lastly if you go on the right day you’ll see Air AsiaX.

Hope that answered your question! πŸ™‚

Thanks Cloud_9!!

EGTC : Stansted is very limited! But once you know the spots it’s quite good, and I find Runway 04 millions times better than Runway 22 as I know one location for 22 and you’re right under the aircraft!

I thought Stansted was a difficult place, and certainly sounds like it too.
Thanks very much for the info guys, much appreciated.

Nice pics there Richard…I didn’t realise Titan still had one of their BAe 146’s in their old livery!

Thanks for sharing.:)

Hi There,

Thanks Guys!!

I was at RWY 04, and the best location I use, is a mound just off a public footpath just off of Dunmow Road B1256 (it’s not on private land πŸ˜‰ )

The Exact location: 51.869649,0.217601

There is a layby where you can park and you need to walk up abit toward Takely and on the opposite side of the road is a public footpath when you get to that foot path there is a massive mound and your there!
Hope that helped!

Stansted’s not good; the only place where the police won’t move you on from is Belmer Road, which faces into the sun.

It’s possible to go around to Molehill Green and stand in a field, but chances are you’ll be seen by the tower and get a pull there as well.
