Just watched the latest version and i thouhgt it was brillliant. Does anyone konw who recorded the music for the trailer though as i thought it was moving. If you you have not heard it then here it is,

The music for the best best best movie of the noughties was scored by Michael Giacchino

Usually the scores for trailers are specially composed OR (as in the case of King Kong/V for Vendetta) they make use of segments of other film scores.
In the case of the two mentioned, they both used the same parts of the score for Batman Begins!!
An interesting one was the trailer for Jaws 2, which used a piece composed, but NOT USED, for the first Jaws film! :rolleyes:

I bought the CD Star Trek (2009 movie) off Ebay before I saw the film. If you like the trailer, buy the cd……you won’t regret it. If you like that, buy the cd soundtrack Avatar.

No idea, but it was definitely my favourite film of last year!
I love the score of the film as well. Just love the way the music ramps up as Bones and Kirk get their first sighting of the newly-finished Enterprise in space dock.
