Staravia and the Sandhurst Harvards

I was looking at the thread on scrapped aircraft and I noticed several mentions of Staravia at Church Crookham and Finchampstead plus the “Sandhurst Harvards”. Having just moved into that very area I really keen to find out more about these sites. Can anyone provide some background/location details of these sites?

I recall seeing several stacked up Harvards visible over the wall of the Sandhuirst yard in the early 1980s – I guess a contemporary Wrecks & Relics records when the last one left.

I visited them many times in the 1960s. The Sandhurst yard was behind a garage on the main road into Camberley, and contained 30-odd Harvards plus a few other bits. The Church Crookham yard was on the outskirts of the village and was dominated by a large pile of ex.RAF, USAF marked Sabres, a few Sea Hawks and for many years, a Sea Fury T.20. Oh yes, there were also bits of a Hermes there at one time.

I never got to the Finchhampstead site.
