Starting up an FW190

Sorta on the same subject… anyone seen this video? Posted last year, but doesnt give a date of when it was found…

Wonder where its ended up now? Amazing how intact it is. Though it seems someones removed a few of the instruments in the cockpit.

The video is from the early nineties and was taken outside of St. Petersburg, Russia.

The aircraft was recovered and is nearing the end of a complete restoration for the Flying Heritage Collection.

To those more in-the-know: Anyone have any status on this that can be publicly shared?

in the photographic section, there is a pic of the fw190 with wheels up.

i can only assume this has flown!!!!:confused:

Nice work, that eagle head on the cowl looks brilliant, best looking 190 IMO 🙂
