Status of RAF E-3 fleet.

Can any one tell me what the status of the WADDO Senrtys is, I did see a forum member state that they was virtualy mothballed.Im a keen airband listner and the last RAF E-3 I heard was up on a software test, and that was some time ago. All E-3’s operating in the UK have been French A.F. or NATOAEWF of late.Fine for NATO cooperation, but we do need our own National E-3’s. For support of QRA ops for example.Keeping in mind the recent TU-160 operating near the Hebrides, a well placed E-3 will fill gaps in radar cover and track low flying intruders. Is this a case of another capability gone or slipping away?
