Stealth AAM, why not?

is it practical to make a 2 stage stealth AAM? , like let say the first stage is a subsonic jet engine such as TJ-150, because it subsonic it can bring the missiles to really long range (MALD have over 900 km range) unlike normal rocket , subsonic speed + tuborjet engine also have very low signature thus it very hard to detect the missiles by IR unlike normal missiles with big flumes trail, the missiles can also be treated to have lower RCS, the second stage can be rocket that accelerated very quick for the last phased with EO seeker, datalink=> increased PK? , could this be the trend for future AAM
