Stealth-I still don't get it

While the F-117s facetting technology is something I understand well, along with the smaller contribution to overall LO from RAM, the B-2 totally boggles my mind. Everytime anyone has mentioned the different generations of stealth they will say some vague thing about the B-2 or mention RAM. RAM however, as I understand it, can only work in a complimentary fashion to other technologies that primarily have to do with the shape of the aircraft.

(leaving out IR, and acoustical LO, I’m interested in the B-2 radar-defeating qualities)

Based on the fact that I know the F-117 leaves very turbulent air behind due to its poor aerodynamics, the B-2 looks like exactly the opposite.

So it that the reason it has the flying-wing shape? Are there radar defeating qualities associated with it? If yes, what are they? How does this shape defeat radar emmisions?

Finally, is RAM what I thought it to be-a complimentary technology?
