Stealth vs Stealth

Now that we have F-22 in the service, F-35 already available as prototype and PAK-FA in final stages of design / preproduction it will be interesting to see will it bring changes in Air to Air combat tactics and are we going to see “new” emphasis on close in combat (gun/IR missile) and demise of medium/long range SARH/ARH missile importance in Air to Air Combat.
Basically opposing aircrafts are “stealthy” , so are they going to be able to detect each other at long range , are they going to be able to acquire medium/long range firing solution , what will be future AWACS role since they are usually operating at least 150 Km from front line and in theory purpose of the stealth is to reduce detection range way below that and are we going to end with air combat more like during WWII and Korea war or Golf War I/II type of Air to Air combat?
