They just reversed the film…….

God, you can find out anything on the internets….

Since 2003 it has been possible to purchase the London Taxi model TXII in the United States. Today there are approximately 250 TXIIs in the U.S.operating as taxis in San Francisco, Dallas, Long Beach, Houston, New Orleans and Las Vegas.

Of topic but..

Where did they get a left hand drive black cab from? – I wasn’t aware they made them.

The series is a bit odd – halfway through he appears with a broken arm. No explanation but it seems he broke it while filming in the Amazon “breaking his arm whilst preventing his not inconsiderable weight from plunging into the murky depths of the Amazon River”.

So he went further south than the southern states?

I think we are seeing it presented in a different order to it being filmed – he had his hair cut in one episode and a short while later had long hair again.

Echoing Bob’s comment about a London Taxi driving around AMARG – it made a funny sight pulling up in front of the Mustang Ranch too 😀

Roger Smith.

Yes I watched it and noted he drove along the preserved types such as the Boeing YC-14. Was expecting him to get out and interview someone spraying Spraylat on an aircraft to preserve it, but nope…on to the next State!

I caught a few seconds of him wobbling precariously on the bombardiers seat as they banked around – looked like great fun!

Odd sight to see, a London black cab driving by the mothballed aircraft…
