I am very sad to hear this news. Back in the 80s I used to work Sterling Caravelle, 727-200, and DC8-63 flights thru Stansted many times per week. Along with a/s Conair, Scanair and Linjeflyg crews the Sterling guys and gals were some of the finest crews around, very sad indeed.:(

I was very sorry to hear this. I have used Sterling a lot over the last year and found their service very good. I found the cabin crews excellent.
I would like to say a big “Thankyou” to all the Sterling personnel, and wish them the best of luck in finding something good to do next.
I hope those who are stranded in foreign places don’t have too bad a time with this matter.
‘Looks like I am going to SAS now….. another one I like.

This is a shame. The Sterling name had a long history in Denmark through various incarnations.
I was in Copenhagen a few weeks ago and saw plenty of their colourful aircraft coming and going.
