I see from the ‘Spot adventures’ site that Osa’s Ark has progressed across to Jersey. It shows it there yesterday at 19.00 odd.

I have tried to follow it but it doesn’t seem to have made the trip to Zurich that was planned for Sept 3…unless I missed that.
Anybody know it’s plans?

Erm, has anyone seen or heard of it putting down on water? After all, that would seem to have been the primary purpose of the original series!

Was gone from Jersey by late morning, so should be well and truly landed at Goodwood.

S-38 may stay in Jersey until Thursday and then make its way to the UK. A rumour I have heard today is that after visiting an airfield somewhere near Chichester towards the end of this week Tom Schrade had hinted at visiting somewhere called Duxfurrrd. So keep your eyes and ears pealed.
However as Tom’s intention is to circumnavigate the world in his lovely aircraft, things may change and he may head south to warmer climes.

It is a strange contraption, that is for sure. But what an aircraft!!
It looks strangely beautiful in flight 😀

I got up close and personal with it this afternoon.
I have to admit it’s a very interesting design but when parked along side CFC’s Dragon Rapide/ Dominie it’s not particularly pretty, it appears to be left over girders bolted together and three motorcycle side cars hung underneath.:)

I hear through the grapevine the S-38 will be back here in 10 days or so and then it’s off to the Riviera and Italy.
