Still Upsets Me

Chaps…let us do a better job at preserving the others, especially in the 20th Anniversary year. Fortunately the cockpit was rescued from this one, it will be on show at Newark on the 15/16th June as part of the Flypast sponsored CockpitFest

Do we really need to preserve everything?

The Pucara is an undistinguished aircraft with virtually no significant place in history. There’s a couple of others I know of in museums. What’s so sad about this one going to the smelter?

Why should this airframe soak up scarce restoration or preservation funds to the detriment of more worthy causes?
