Is there any up to date news on this very interesting and unique project? Have any more items been located and recovered? Cees?

Great news Elliott,
You know where to find a team that just had some experience with a certain German bomber in the channel.

I’m sorry to hear that – your museum made a really excellent start. On another, related note I think we may just have found a Whitley wreck in the English Channel we have been searching for, for the last ten years. I am getting my flippers out as we speak 🙂

Hi Elliott,
Not at the moment as we are still trying to get the local authorities off their bums to have it recovered.
The recession/ crisis doesn’t help, but then again when life is good they aren’t getting off their
Backsides too. Problem is money. If there was an European fund for these cases they would
Be recovered within days.
Six missing that are not anymore but nobody with the power to change things cares.
Pity really.
Cees
