Stirling Project Anchor Nut request

Dear all

I’m hoping that someone out there can ident the 4BA anchor nuts in the attached photo or better still have a look in their spares bin to see if they’ve got 3 off that they can spare us to let us complete a small assembly.

They’re not in the Brown Bros catalogue so I don’t think they’re standard AGS.

thanks in advance 🙂

John

Thanks to Oldgit158 we received the anchor nuts.

I’ve used them on a pulley bracket recovered from BK710 which fits just under the second pilots floor and is attached to the transverse floor beam next to the throttle box. I’m not definite on it’s function but I’m 90% certain it’s related to the glider towing mechanism.

many thanks for all of your responses

John

I’d like to second that request re. the Brown Brothers catalogue please- we’re often coming up against weird old fastenings on Bluebird!?

Bluebird Mike,
Here’s a weblink to the Brown Brothers catalogue that I think you’re after (266 pages) – found it by Googling ‘Brown Brothers’ – the wonders of the web!

Hi all

Thanks for the responses and it looks like Jay (Oldgit158) has come up trumps. Re the BB Catalogue, I think Bruce on here used to have a downloadable version
