Yet another 737 to get the 7E7 livery treatment – this time Ryanair!

EI-DCL and EI-DCM joined the Ryanair fleet at Dublin on Saturday October 2nd 2004. EI-DCL is the 800th 738 produced and wears the special Boeing livery as pictured.

The airline has an Irish AOC, so I agree with HP81 and Shamrock321.

Stansted-Operations base
Dublin-Office base

Dublin=base.Stansted=Hub

Boeing propaganda I think. I wonder what sort of a deal these airlines were given to fly the adverts around?
Ryanair is a Dublin based airline, with Stansted as its main operating base. At least that’s how it looks me.

I dont want to start a fight.Ryanair has many bases Dublin was just the first biggish one.
technically, and airline can only have one “base” any others are really just hubs

That looks fantastic! That livery is so classy…. Unlike Ryanair.

FR may have more flights from STN but theior headquarters are in Dublin.All their planes are Irish registered.
But STN is still their base. DUB is their HQ, but their main base is still STN. There’s no reason why DUB should be the base, I don’t think it was Ryanair’s original birth place. They started flying from Waterford-Gatwick, so you may want to say that Waterford is their base. This is obviously not the case….

Now boeing must paint a real Dreamliner…

No, its not delivered for another week… So you must have seen the Air Berlin a/c. I suspect Ryanair will keep this a/c like this for a while, like Korean – there’s no shows due so there’s no reason to paint it as such unless its for long term advertising / awareness.

Think I may have already seen it over the school on Friday. Was either the Air Berlin one, or this new one. Weather appears to be cheering up at the moment, wonder whether I should try my luck up STN this afternoon…

How long do they keep that livery though? The Korean one is already back into mainstream livery.

Ryanair and Dreamliner in the same sentence… 😮 There’s something wrong there, a contradiction in terms! :rolleyes: I think the only thing Ryanair passengers will be dreaming about is getting better service on other airlines! :p
In any case, hardly a good advert for the Dreamliner, an airplane with no window shades and seats that don’t recline! :diablo: 😀
