After yesterday’s debut with the DSLR, I was up at STN again for about 3 hours this evening to catch something different than FR’s and EZY’s. Also tried out a few more things. Enjoy 😀
They’re all completely mixed up and were taken at different times/locations. Makes it more interesting! If you’re on dial-up, go and do something for 5 mins then come back. It should be worth it!

One word, WOW

Thanks!
I was waiting for someone to notice that! I was literally sitting on the mud in the approach field, so that I could pan much more better than standing up. As it approached I just held the shutter down (3 frames a second!) and as it flew past ended up rolling onto my back! Quite entertaining…especially for the pilots.
Was it worth being caked in mud just to get that shot? I’d say yes :p

Thanks!
The shots of EZIB overhead is something too!

Cheers everyone!! Thursday looks good, forecast to be no cloud coverage. Which means the sun may stay light enough for the Air Berlin’s and Germanwings climbing back out. Although you may have to ask me to post them….I don’t wanna flood the forums with STN shots.
Have you got a new camera then, wannabe? 🙂
Maybe :p

Thanks everyone, I’ll probably be up there again before the end of the week. Wanna catch a wingletted Air Berlin on climb out, I can picture the shot in my head already 😀

Very good shots, quite amazing variety at STN, even with that amount of EZY and RYR

Love the Slovak 732 😀
Not many 732s flying about with those type hushkits 🙂

Nice shots 🙂
Is Malev regularly using the Fokker 70 into Stansted or is it normally 737s? I was quite surprised to see that.
Thanks, it’s usually 737 in morning and F70 in evening, or the other way round depending on bookings. First time I’ve seen the F70 in quite a while though.

Oh if you say so 😉 :p You can even see the seats with yellow headrests on the last FR one!
Is it me or is this GSS 744 trailing with only 3 engines?

Absolutely incredible quality! Stunning, so looking forward to seeing more and more shots from you with this camera.
As with Tom, love the Slovak with the person in the window, remember seeing a Slovak 732 in Zante last year.
