Stolen 727!

Will the 727 have the engine refitted?

They at least learned from all this. In order to prevent it from being stolen again they removed the #3 engine (see pic posted by Nationwide air). :p

I might have to do that with my bike. Remove the wheels or the pedals or something.

Yes it was an ex. American Airlines aircraft, (As you could probably tell!).

And how exactly do you steal a 727 anyway?

Hmmm, not sure about that, by all accounts the aircraft had been ferried from MIA to Luanda, and in storage for a year or so.

Ok Spotty M Driver . The aircraft was based at Lanseria before it was stolen.

Found in Guinea in a rather sloppy new paint scheme.

I think you’ll find it was stolen from Luanda, Angola where it had been impounded. Aircraft has turned up again, repainted etc…. Africa what a wonderful place 😀 😀

Yes the 727 was found, the airline was IRS Airlines. It was stolen at Lanseria Airport.
