Stolen Logbook and other items

To all you good people out there, I need some assistance in trying to find the wherabouts of a Pilots Logbook and other personal effects. I was talking to a lady the other day and she told me of her father time in the RAF, sadly there house was broken into about 20 years ago and many of his personal items including his logbook (red leather bound) a brown framed picture with his wings in it and a silk map of Burma, also his diary was taken. I am told there where many other items but she didn’t go into detail.

The Pilot’s details are – Flying Officer P A Rees. (Peter Allan Rees)
Number – 202417.

He was out in Burma and flew Spitfires, Hurricanes and Thunderbolts.
The items where stolen from London W1 about 20 years ago.

I know this is a long shot, but if any body has been offered anything over the years, or knows where I can find anything else out please let me know.

The lady’s mother was also with her, and it was the first time she had been up close to a Spitfire. It was quite moving.

Thanks for looking at this.

Any help would be greatly received.

Were these the only items taken or was it a more opportunistic theft?
