The guy is in love with the Female astronaut who died in the Challenger accident… That’s the relation.

I’m not sure whether the pilot in the Milan case was a fruitcake or if he just had a heart attack and flew into a building as a result.

BTW, the building in question has not been repaired yet (it’s just near the central train station and a major hotel district) – about 3/4 of the way up, there is a black burnt out area.

hmmm – doesn’t sound like a terrorist to be honest – just (used very lightly) someone whos lost their marbles, but these things become more apparent in times like these with the media reporting them – but he is obviously a real threat

The good news is he is down, returned to FRA and has given himself up to police. Obviously this sounds similar to what happened in Florida and Milan just thank god the man gave up.
No links to terrorism, though reports say the pilot’s motivation for the hijacking is linked to the Challenger space disaster, though it is not clear what exactly the connection could be.
Some reports say he wants to make contact with Charles Resnik – brother of one of the astronauts who was killed when the Challenger exploded in 1986.

They are saying the person is talking something about the Challenger shuttle blast…of course no one can see any connection of it. Anyway the a/c is expected to run out of fuel soon so lets see.
