While we have tons of accounts from pilots of F-86 Sabres, F-4 Phantoms and F-15 and F-16 pilots of dogfights downing MiG’s over Korean, Vietnam, Lebanon and Iraq there seems to be very little in the way of stories from the MiG pilots. Let us not forget that MiG’s scored kills against various aircraft over Korea, Vietnam, India/Pakistan, Iran/Iraq.
Does anyone have any knowledge of accounts given by pilots from from inside the MiG cockpits? Surely there must be some somewhere?
