The latest issue of Air Forces Monthly (May 2003)has a 2-page article about Storm Shadow which says ……..
Page 39 :- Storm Shadow…… “selected in 1997 to meet the RAF’s Staff Requirement SR(A)-1236 for a
CASOM for the Tornado GR.4/4A and Eurofighter Typhoon. An earlier decision to employ the Storm
Shadow on the Harrier GR.7/9 has been dropped.”
This is contradicted two pages later in an article about precision strikes and the weapons used…
Page 41 :- “The Storm Shadow provides long-range firepower for the RAF’s Tornado GR4 and Harrier GR7 aircraft…..”
Which is correct ??
