Strange Aircraft Sighted Over Dorset – UAV?

A few weeks ago while walking home I noticed a strange looking aircraft. It was shaped like an F-22 Raptor but had a large air intake with the opening at the front stretching the length of the fuselage. Unlike the EF2000 there was no bifurcation in the middle of the air intake nor were there canards at the front. The air intake its self was of rectangular shape with the corners smoothed out. The cockpit compared to other aircraft appeared to be not big enough to house a pilot and was black in colour. Could the plane I saw be a UAV? The plane was painted in an olive drab on top and sky blue underneath. It had one large tail that looked out of proportion to the rest of the aircraft. There was what looked like spare fuel tanks slung under the wings and there was nothing on the aircraft that to me, looked like a refuelling probe. Before you lot write in that it was an Eurofighter Typhoon (:)) I know what an EF2000 looks like and this was not that shape! It wasn’t an F-16 Fighting Falcon either. I am wondering whether it is linked to my previous sightings of strange vapour trails (See letter “Mystery Trail” posted on 28th December 2000.) As for Westlands testing a new type of helicopter? It’s out of the question. The craft even though having a jet engine sounded like a turbo prop. The aircraft was heading in the opposite direction to DERA Boscombe Down. If that has anything to do with it I don’t know. The craft was well below 200ft; it was roughly at 120ft when I saw it. The time was about 4.20pm in the afternoon. The weather was patchy cumulonimbus clouds and visibility was about 20 miles. I have lived here for 7 years so I know what is usually seen around here. This aircraft in particular was not one of them so if any one has information on the subject I would be very happy if they would share it with me. Happy New Year.:)
