I found a strange bird in my garden attacking my apple and apricot trees, it was my mother-in-law

in austria we also call them EICHELHΓ„HER=Jays
here in the mountains we have crowds of these beautiful birds. the only bad aspect about them is, that if we have them in our gardens, its winter or snow is approaching.

enjoy this beautiful sunday morning

You might call it a Jay, here it is called a Eichelhaher, a very common bird. Jay is easier πŸ™‚

Yep… it’s a jay.

We get them in our garden all the time, maybe because we have a small wood opposite.

Lovely plumage……….

I’m not a proper bird watcher but we get quite a lot of wildlife in our garden, Jay’s are frequent visitors πŸ™‚
