Just received the latest copy of flight check for Manchester, looking through it and noticed that there where around 20 My Travel positioning flights, most arriving into Manchester to a certain date, hardly none departing, all with a similar code
MYT00*M
Now theres something going on here because they are mostly A320’s and A321’s, Could this be the month we see some of the boeing fleet dissapear, seems that way to me if you think about it.
They are bringing aircraft in from regional airports to Manchester to accomdate for the departure of the boeing fleet.

why 3 x A320 arrivals from LBA and no flights back to LBA?
“M” for maintenance, maybe? 😉
Regarding the “disappearing” LBA flights – could they be a combination of end-of-lease aircaft arriving at MAN in preparation for return (eg Skyservice A320s) and aircraft being prepared for winter lease elsewhere?

for those without the latest issue of flight check; you will find that most of these are new to the september edition. I also add the DC-10 is now operating to Sanford again.

Bear in mind, that as you approach the end of the summer charter season, many outbound flights (ie last flights out to summer-only destinations) are empty and classed as ferry flights – doesn’t really account for inbound ferries in September though.
Also, as the end of the season approaches, flights can be combined, but again, September seems a bit early for that, unless MYT are having a dire summer.

to add to this, airtours have told passengars travelling on certain dates from LGW to Cyprus that their flight has been cancelled, and the passengers have been offered to fly from Bristol.

r you talking about the MAN flightcheck book you can buy, because if you are then ive noticed alot of POS flights aswell also monarch fly the A330 to LGW.

No they swap fleet around all the time! EGAA had a A320 based until June then an A321 took over and will be departing in September i think.
