Strange objects in formation in upper atmosphere

geedee is right i got a newsletter from nasa which had that as the pic of the week. It was a timed exposure of orion taken through the atmosphere hense the blurring.

Its a good picture. i’m pretty into astrophotgraphy and am saving upto get a nice telescope i can mount my camera too

Anyone got ant idea what they might be?

The universe hides fascinating secrets, which could be letal for all of all us. While we are discussing about idiotic things, like WMD, teasing other countries, potential dangers (real WMD) might be real dangers for our existence. As far as I know, no concrete plans to face an incoming asteroid. Is the human being something ridicule?. The shot looks really interesting an intriguing.

Looks suspiciously like the three stars that form Orion belt to me. would need to see a bit more of the star field to confirm though.
