Strange things happening on this forum

I’m on google chrome ,sounds like it’s occurring on most systems.

That makes the forum software the prime suspect!

I know the page dropping down each time you look at something is really annoying now.

I’m running Firefox and this behaviour is “new” but I can’t tell if it is due to the forum software being updated or Firefox being updated. A lot of “crap” is loading (can be seen at the bottom of the browser window) with certain pages – maybe it is an incompatibility between the browser and how the forum loads the ads? No matter what the cause may be, it is annoying to click “historic aviation” … :stupid: … ending up in “photographic”.

Try the usual things, like clearing your cache – particularly on mobile devices.

I had one of the dodgy redirects yesterday, but its the first time. It has been flagged to the Tech staff.

And problems, I’ve had a few, but then again, too bloody many to mention.

Apart from the on/off editing (Mostly off) problems, Anybody else have problems enlarging the images that require the viewer to click on the provided small image ? all I get just lately is a black hole where the image should appear….:apologetic:

There do seem to be problems. Including the continuing inability to edit. These may be due to the pending migration to a new server

Snaf,,, I did my post and hit reply, the post was on the thread but the thread did not load to the top of the page renew itself, this dropping down thingy is a pain, I have gone into wrong threads and also into profiles.

I posted but the post can be seen but not selecting back to the top of the list, very strange

So you could see your post on the main page; don’t understand ‘not selecting back to the top of the list’, but what is very strange is that you are usually sober and coherent by this time on a Sunday morning…;o)

I’ve given up editing my posts from my mobile. Every time I select edit, it deletes my post.
