One of my favourite aviation films.
Score was by Victor Young, one of the great film composers of the Hollywood ‘Golden Age’. He wrote music for ‘The Quiet Man’ and many others (Won an Oscar for ‘Around the world in 80 Days’). As far as I know, the soundtrack of ‘SAC’ is not among the scores available on CD.

June Allyson, 88, who plays the wife in the movie, passed away on the 8th of July. 🙁

Great James Stewart classic with some great footage of the B36…..i’ve been trying to purchase it just recently but it doesn’t seem to be available on DVD……Bombers B52 starring Karl Malden was also a good one for some great aerial shots
