Following by APB out to Stuart he dropped me a PM and okayed me to upload the latest on his Spit to the forum….its a hugely impressive achievement!
….stbd wing is ready for skinning, port side ribs structure are all made; since you last saw it, it has a new fuel take cover (damaged when it fell off it’s perch a few years ago) and an original top cowling that was repatriated from Germany last year, I have a “new” set of pintles and U/C locks to collect fairly soon, I have now finished off the belly skinning….

Although I have never seen Stuarts Spitfire “in the Flesh” it has been an inspiration for my own far more modest project.
