hello I have many questions about the “flagon F”I hope you all can give me a few answers
1) Why was this fighter not exported to the middleeast countries almost all bought the nearly useless mig-23MS surely the flagonF was a better fighter
some flagon units were statioined for the air defence of Cairo but none were transferred
2)did the flagon carry the UPK-23-250 gunpods operationally and if so why did they need them for bomber interception
3)how would the flagon fare against the F-4E,I mean in a 1vs1 engagement it is a no contest the F-4 wins for sure but in any conflict the it would have fought whether in the fareast or europe they would have had numerical superority the most likely scenario would be a regiment of su-15s vs a squadorn of F-4s.What tactics should the flagon pilots employ if they are to encounter phantoms(for both CAP and strike missions)?
