[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-04-02 AT 03:41 PM (GMT)]Well i am a big fan of this rusky jet, not only because it is russian and according to this forum russian equipment is inferior!! but because its export chances for the next few years are better than some. Check out the list of countries the russian advisers have on their must-sell list:-

India (an order for 60 more)
China (contract signed july last year)
Malaysia (looking to spend around $500-600m)
Indionesia (asian financial crisis aborted 18 Su-30mk)
Libya (sanctions lifted and just a matter of time)
Iran (same for iran, in need of major multi role aircraft,
strong relations with russia).
Syria (next few years!! or sooner than we think with middle east
troubles)

Vietnam, Australia and many more , this should give russia’s struggling aerospace market a boost.
